----
HAND
----

ch12 with PEACH, leaving tail to sew to sleeve
1-2: sc* [11]
continues at FINGER 1, but read about the structure of the fingers beforehand

----------------
FINGER STRUCTURE
----------------

Currently, you should have 11 stitches in a circle like this:

 x x  x x  x x          x = sc
x             x

We're going to use chains to make three fingers like this:

 x x  x x  x x          x = sc
x   oo   oo   x         o = ch

In the end, the stitches that will belong to each finger are as follows:

 1 1  2 2  3 3          1 = finger 1
1   12   23   3         2 = finger 2
  1    2    3           3 = finger 3

At the end, the hand will have a bit of a curve. The bottom row of the diagrams shown above is the palm. The top row of the diagrams shown above is the back

of the hand.

Depending on how cursed you want his right hand to be, replace stitches of PEACH with GREY.

When finished, stuff HAND, sew bases of FINGERs together, stuff sleeve, and sew HAND to SLEEVE (back loops of row 6 of SLEEVE).

--------
FINGER 1
--------

1: sc4, ch [5]
2-4: sc* [5]
F/O.

--------
FINGER 2
--------

After finishing FINGER 1, the row the fingers start should look like this:

 o o  x o  o o
o   o         o
  o    o    o

Start FINGER 2 at the stitch marked with an x.

1: sc2, ch, sc, ch [5]
2-3: sc* [5]
4: hdc4, sc [5]
F/O

--------
FINGER 3
--------

After finishing FINGER 2, the row the fingers start should look like this:

 o o  o o  x o
o   oo   o    o
  o    o    o

Start FINGER 3 at the stitch marked with an x.

1: sc4, ch [5]
2-3: sc* [5]
4: sc3 [5]
F/O

-----
THUMB
-----

1: sc5 in magic ring [5]
2-3: sc* [5]
4: ch, turn, sc2 [2]
F/O leaving a tail to sew to hand.

Sew to the palm-side of the hand.

---
HAT
---

ch2; leave semi-long tail to attach tassel
1: sc6 in second ch from hook with DARK BLUE [6]
2: inc* [12]
3: (sc, inc)* [18]
4: (sc2, inc)* [24]
5: (sc3, inc)* [30]
6: (sc4, inc)* [36]
7: (sc5, inc)* [42]
8: (sc6, inc)* [48]
9: (sc7, inc)* [54]
10: (sc8, inc)*, sl st [60]
11: sc in back loops*, sl st [60]
12: sc in back loops* [60]
13-17: sc* [60]
18: sc*, sl st into LIGHT BLUE [60]
19: sc* [60]
20: sc*, sl st [60]
21: ch, turn, sc in back loops*, switch to GOLD in last sc [60]
22: sl st* [60]
23: ch3, (skip, hdc in back loops, ch)*, sl st to 3rd chain [60]
24: sl st, ch, (ch3, sc into the holes created by the previous row)* [60]
F/O.

Make a tassel with GOLD. Instructions here: http://www.learn-how-to-crochet.com/tassel.html

Thread tail of tassel through middle of hat and tie a square knot with hat's starting tail. Make sure length of tassel tail is as desired.

----
HAIR
----

To add two strands of hair:
- fold a length of yarn in half
- stick crochet hook into a hole on the head and out an adjacent hole
- pull the middle of the folded yarn through
- thread the two tails of the yarn through the loop created
- pull tight

(I'll probably make a tutorial vid in the future to clarify this, as it's kinda hard to describe in text)

Add hair to the top of the head and in a beard-like pattern along the face.

I suggest using GREY and LIGHT GREY in a 3:1 ratio to get an effect of highlights in his hair.

Alternatively, use WHITE instead of GREY to make a whiter-haired Dumbledore.

----
RING
----

ch8 with GOLD, and wrap around finger, tying together with a square knot. Hide tails in hand.

ch2 with GOLD, and sc5 in the second chain from hook. F/O.

ch2 with BLACK, sc1 in second chain from hook. F/O. Thread tail through the centre of the sc5 circle created above. This is the stone. Sew this to the top of

the ring.

----------
ELDER WAND
----------

Stuff as you go.

ch2 with BROWN
1: sc5 in second ch from hook [5]
2: sc* [5]
3: sc* [5]
...

Continue to desired length, I recommend around 10 rows.

Using DARK BROWN, ch8 to make ribs around wand if desired.

Sew to hand.

--------------
GLASSES & EYES
--------------

For eyes, use either buttons or felt. Also feel free to sew eyebrows.

For glasses, I used memory thread, but you can also sew a long chain to his face in the shape of glasses. Feel free to try anything else you may have - wire,

foam, nearly anything would work.
